The launch of the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B computer on 24th June 19 comes with many big upgrades. And of course the official case/enclosure too. 

This official enclosure for the latest RPi 4 Model B comes in Black and Grey color, the most preferred color of computer devices:) It is now available here in the Cytron marketplace! As hard as the Raspberry Pi team wanted to keep the compatibility, there are quite some significant changes on RPi 4 B due to the upgrades. A few changes that most likely affecting the case are:

• 2 x micro HDMI ports instead of 1 x standard HDMI port
• USB type C as a power input port instead of USB micro B socket
• The swap of Ethernet port with 2 x USB 2.0 ports

So Raspberry Pi 4 Model B computer will not fit into most of the cases for the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B or B+. Thus this new case. While we're getting more alternative cases, this will be perfect protection and an elegant case for the latest single-board computer. And of course, this case is a result of a well-designed effort and definitely what we've come to expect from the folks who made the Raspberry Pi.

Simpler than the official case for Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, this case comes in two parts only. The base is black and the lid/cover is grey color. If you don't like to cover your Raspberry Pi, you can leave the board without the grey cover. This case's smart design and customizability make it a worthy addition to the Pi case genre! And did I mention? No screw is needed to snap all the pieces together, nice and easy!

Note: This product is just the case. It does not come with Raspberry Pi or components.  It's designed for the Pi 4 and will not work with the other Pi computer.
