3M 2090 Blue Tape 48mmx55M

Introducing the 3M™ Scotch-Blue™ 2090, it's a smooth Blue paper masking tape that has premium quality tape capable of holding, bundling, sealing, and non-critical masking applications. This professional tape is mainly used for masking off areas, it can adhere consistently to many surfaces. Constructed from a crepe paper backing for conformability with an instant rubber adhesive coating. Great holding strength that resists lifting or curling that will reduce any reworking.

The 2090 masking tape is ideal for any job that needs masking which includes stopping paint bleeding to ensure clean paint lines and sharp clean edges. It can be removed cleanly without leaving residue for up to 14 days after application. The 2090 tape is UV and water-resistant making it versatile and consistent on many surfaces.

PLA and ABS have both been tested to stick very well and separate easily, even with raftless prints. When used with a heated platform, Blue Tape does become more brittle, but even at heats of 120ºC with material extruded at 240ºC, we have not seen it burst into flames.
